Friends of Menphys is a small parent and teacher led group supporting Sketchley Hill Menphys Nursery School.
It is a registered charity and relies on active trustees and volunteers to represent the charity in organising fundrasing events, controlling spending of the funds raised and increasing and maintaining the profile of the charity and the nursery school in the local community and across Leicestershire.
We are particularly keen to recruit new members and trustees from the local community of Hinckley and Burbage and the surrounding areas together with parents and carers of past, present and future pupils.
We hold approximately 8 meetings a year, usually in the evening of a weekday. There we discuss fundraising; actively organise events and approve and nominate spending plans.
