Admission procedures and Admission Policy 

Parents of young children with special needs are always welcome to visit our nurseries to gain an insight into the kind of activities, experiences and learning your child might access.

Admissions to the Nurseries are in accordance with the Local Authority criteria for entry to a Specialist Nursery School.

Prior to discussion at an Admissions Panel, a recommendation must be made by the Early Years SEND Inclusion Service.  Generally, children are now required to have an Education and Health Care Plan before they start at the Nursery Schools.   Your Early years SEND inclusion practitioner or advisor will be able to support you with this.

All places at the nursery are allocated and funded by the Local Authority once eligibility has been agreed by a multidisciplinary panel.
